A young lady has shared her unusual family experience online after her dad got married to a 24-year-old woman shortly after her mom’s passing.
According to her, the part that feels strange is how the young stepmother always checks up on her like a big sister.
In one voice note, the 24-year-old could be heard saying she just called to hear her voice, asking if she had lectures, and even telling her to enjoy herself.
While the gesture sounded sweet, the lady admitted she finds it a bit weird considering the woman’s age. Her story sparked mixed reactions in the comments.
Some people praised the stepmom for simply trying to build a good relationship with her stepdaughter, but the young lady couldn’t help but joke that the marriage looked more like a “pension plan” arrangement than love.
