    A woman has gone viral after sharing a video of the dress she wore when her husband asked her to put on the most expensive gown she owned.

    In the viral video, the lady’s husband had asked her to wear her most expensive dress so that he could take her out on a date.

    Expecting her to wear a beautiful dinner gown or evening dress, he was completely unprepared for what she eventually wore.

    The lady had taken his request quite literally and had worn her most expensive gown, her graduation gown..

    It cost not only the amount that she had used to buy the gown, but all the tuition and any extra funds that had gone into her acquiring her degree and gaining the right to don the gown.

    The lady’s video quickly went viral online, with many people commenting on her sense of humour.

    Netizens also used the opportunity to guess what gown they thought she would have worn as her most expensive, like her wedding gown or hospital gown.

    See comments below;

    @Bored at home: I thought you were going to come out in a hospital gown 😂 But you right that graduation gown much more expensive.

    @steplove75: Babyyyyyyyyyyyy I yelled so loud . Did you hear me.

    @choicegina: I thought you were going to wear your wedding gown 🤣
