    A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to share her ex-boyfriend’s reactions after she refused his marriage proposal.

    In a Facebook post, she revealed that he reclaimed everything he gave her, including a multi-million-naira property.

    In her post, she noted that while his actions didn’t hurt her, she felt used because she had also done things for him without expecting anything in return.

    Her post read;

    “So my Nsukka ex-boyfriend came and carried all the things he bought for me because I didn’t marry him. I refunded him with 2.1 million Naira worth of property. I am not pained, but I just feel used.

    To some of asking me what I offered my Nsukka ex! When his Yahoo have not started paying, I fed, clothed him and paid his rent for a good 9 years from his university days, I spent 1.8 million on his hospital bills when he was diagnosed with mental illness.”

    Her post, which has now gone viral, has sparked mixed reactions from internet users, with some defending his actions as typical male behavior and others finding her situation amusing.

    Below are some of the reactions;

    “He don use juju threaten this lady, if not she will not refund. Fear Nsukka men”

    “Why did you refund him? Unless there was an agreement before buying those things, if not my dear you were used indeed.”
