    A young lady has stirred reactions online after sharing a video of herself retrieving the items she previously bought for her partner.

    In the viral clip, the woman could be seen packing up the things she claimed to have purchased for him, ranging from food items to kitchen utensils. According to her, she decided to take them back following a fallout in their relationship.

    In the caption, she wrote;

    “Don’t call it petty or me been bitter, if a man did the same, society would clap for him. Stop the double standards. I’m not a charity organization. Once the relationship ends, so does every investment.”

    The act sparked a wave of mixed opinions on social media. While some viewers argued that it was within her rights to reclaim what she spent her money on, others felt she was being petty and that gifts should remain with the receiver regardless of how the relationship ends.
