A lady has shared a hilarious throwback moment from her childhood, revealing how her mother creatively managed to celebrate multiple birthdays with a single cake.

According to the lady @mary_oguntuyi , during her first birthday, her mother decided to write the names of her siblings on the same cake, capturing photos that could be used for their future birthday celebrations.

“My mum used one stone to kill three birds,” the lady joked, as she posted the old pictures online. Her mum’s amusing gesture showcased the practical approach to African parenting, which aims to satisfy children equally.

“So my mum decided to write my siblings name on my 1 year old birthday cake for pictures 🤣🤣🤣.She used one stone to kill three birds,” She wrote.

The video showed her siblings individually posing with her first birthday cake, each with their name creatively written on it, giving the impression that the cake was made specially for their birthday.

The video has sparked laughter and admiration from social media users, who disclosed having similar childhood experiences since their parents couldn’t afford a birthday cake for their siblings every year.
