A young woman has narrated how operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) stormed the recently held Abeokuta Water Splash event at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library.

According to her, the highly anticipated water-themed party was in full swing when EFCC officials arrived at the venue, throwing guests into panic.

She said the officers moved in unexpectedly, disrupting the festivities and prompting many to scatter in different directions.

She added that some attendees were taken away in EFCC vans. While the reason for the raid has not been officially confirmed, those who escaped are questioning why a night meant for pure fun and merrymaking ended on such a sad note.

@awake972 No one is actually talking about so illegal this is,for the efcc to show up in a clouded place like that and started shorting gun😏😡it’s so wrong 😑 let’s focus on the right things, they were actually having an innocent party.

@vdjboo5 But i hope they have release all the girls they arrested? my advice is don’t go to every water gun party show…it a trending show,if the location is disclose online don’t go.
