A girl gifted her sister a money bouquet during her sign-out, but the celebration took a dramatic turn when a man snatched the bouquet and ran.
Onlookers immediately gave chase, but before he could be caught, the man threw the bouquet into a bush and kept running. The original owner was able to retrieve it from where it fell.
When the thief was finally caught, he was beaten mercilessly for his actions by a soldier.
The clip has sparked mixed reactions online. While some praised the quick action of the lady who ran to redeem the gift, others slammed the treatment of the thief as “inhumane”, saying physical assault for theft is too extreme, even if the crime was wrong.
