    A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to share the heartbreaking story of how her colleague lost her 11-year-old daughter.

    In a post shared via X (formerly Twitter), she revealed that the woman’s husband had confessed that every firstborn in his family mysteriously dies at the age of twelve.

    The young girl, who would have turned 12 next month, was reportedly hit by a car, leading to her untimely death.

    She also mentioned that the grieving mother was not allowed to see her daughter’s body after her death, making the situation more disturbing.

    Her tweets read;

    “A lady at my my workplace lost her daughter few days ago only for the husband to confess today that in his family, their firstborn always dies when they’re 12 years old or getting close to it, the girl was supposed to be 12 next month Men are scary.

    Everything about the story is heartbreaking. She got hit by a car and was left there till she died. The lady didn’t wasn’t allowed to see her daughter’s body, it’s heartbreaking.“

    Below are some of the reactions;

    “The fact that she wasn’t allowed to see her own daughter’s body is a huge red flag. Something is not adding up.

    “Every firstborn dies at 12 and you still chose to have a child without doing something about it? That’s deeply unsettling.”

    “This is beyond heartbreaking. That child deserved so much more — and the mother deserved answers”

    “May that little angel rest in peace. I hope the mother finds the strength to demand the truth and get justice.”
