A woman has shared a surprising experience after pranking her sister-in-law by falsely claiming that her brother had hit her.

In the video, she explained that the prank was meant to be lighthearted, just to see how her sister-in-law would react.

However, the reaction she received was far more intense than expected. The sister-in-law was visibly upset and immediately began asking serious questions.

“What kind of nonsense is that?” she exclaimed, followed by, “Did he take anything?”, clearly trying to make sense of the situation.

She then added, “How would he feel if someone did that to me?” and told the woman not to cry, assuring her that she was on her way.

The sister-in-law’s response showed genuine concern and zero tolerance for any form of abuse, even when it involved her own brother.

While many praised her quick defense and loyalty, others pointed out that using domestic violence as the basis for a prank is inappropriate, given the seriousness of the issue.

@stayfit.en I’m just gonna say it: some things should not be joke worthy.

@riri_bekeh That’s me as a sister in-law! You won’t maltreat someone’s daughter in our house! I will never take that!
