    A woman has taken to X (Twitter) to share a personal experience about how a decade-long friendship took a sour turn when she was unable to offer financial help, for the very first time.

    In her post, she explained that she had always been there for her friend over the years, consistently rendering help when needed.

    However, during a particularly difficult time for her financially, she was forced to say ‘no’ and was stunned by her friend’s reaction.

    According to her, instead of showing understanding, her friend laughed and made a remark saying, “Thank God, no be only you be God’s favorite”.

    She added that those words have been ringing in her head ever since, especially painful considering the friendship had lasted for over 10 years.

    The tweet quickly gained traction on social media, with many users relating to her experience and reflecting on how true friendship is often tested during difficult times.

    Below are some of the comments;

    “Who needs an enemy when they have that. I’m so sorry about your experience.”

    “Blood of God, human needs to be feared and be very feared…What?”

    “Wow, that’s evil. So she likes coming to you for help, but is jealous that you got it like that.”

    “That word no go ever go away from your mind, e heavy die. E go just dey ring!!! That na serious checking wey pesin no dey take lightly, ọ̀tá pò ju enemy lọ.”
