A lady struggling to cope with a recent breakup breaks down in tears while performing as a backup singer during church worship.

@sheisxoxo0 posted a video of her heartbroken sister overwhelmed by emotions as she bursts into tears while singing as a backup chorister during the church worship service.

As she sang with the church’s choir, her voice was the loudest among other backup choristers to the extent that the officiating pastor had to look back to confirm the sudden high pitch.

She proceeded to kneel and began to weep uncontrollably that a church worker hurriedly mounted the stage, collected the microphone, and requested she exit the pulpit.

The relationship breakup took a toll on her, causing her to become vulnerable in front of church congregants.

Internet users expressed sympathy for the lady, saying that when the pastor said, “Allow me to cry during worship,” her feelings became visible.

Some internet users believed that the technical staff should have turned off her microphone rather than humiliating her by taking the microphone and escorting her off the pulpit.

    Below are some reactions,

@Divine Kingsley Na pastor find trouble oo,he said permit me to cry😂😂😂😂

@Mh Iz Ju Li eT 💞 Una go think say na joke, but Iba fit hold her true true 😩😭

@Midnight_Goddess01 Pastor sef look back say wetin dey happen for there😂😂😂

@Darah But why’s it only her voice they’re hearing?? Aren’t the other choirs singing too??
