A lady decided to end her relationship with her boyfriend after he failed to text her for a full day.
The lady @__itohan_ posted on X (Twitter) that she wasn’t ready to be in a relationship with a man who doesn’t shower her with attention, as she cannot be constantly begging for his attention.
She wrote;
“if you don’t text me for one day and we’re having a thing, i just assume you’re no longer interested in me and I will move on”
The boyfriend @hackysterio replied to her initial post trying to defend himself, thinking that netizens would take his side, he wrote;
“each of these is cos i didn’t text for 24 hours. there are even worse para texts that i can’t share. this 2025, i started single, i will finish it single. i no like wahala. we go dey reason marrriage later.”

They also shared the messages they exchanged with each other on WhatsApp, which showed what had really gone down between them.
Contrary to what the man expected, netizens’ reactions were mixed as the majority sided with the lady, stating she had every right to end things there, as she had made her expectations clear.
