Kwesi Pratt, the Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, is advising the NDC to focus on addressing economic challenges rather than pursuing a witch-hunt of NPP members and officials. He believes that arresting people and sending them to jail won’t yield meaningful results if the economy continues to struggle ¹.

Pratt emphasized that what matters most to ordinary Ghanaians is economic relief, not pursuing officials and leaders of the NPP. He urged the NDC to prioritize the economic challenges facing Ghanaians, stating that “if we don’t get (economic) relief, whatever you do will mean nothing” ¹.

This advice comes as the NDC prepares to assume power in 2025. Pratt’s words serve as a reminder that economic growth and stability should be the primary focus of any government.
