Prominent media personality Kwame Dadzie has raised serious concerns about the rapid return of street beggars to Accra shortly after their deportation.

Kwame Dadzie is an arts and culture journalist with the Multimedia Group. He writes for myjoyonline.com and hosts Ghana’s leading entertainment talk show, Showbiz A-Z, on Joy FM.

Additionally, he co-hosts Daybreak Hitz, a popular entertainment and lifestyle morning show in Ghana.

Dadzie expressed alarm over the situation and questioned the possibility of exploitation behind the return of these deported beggars.

“How do you deport so many people, and they’re back in just a few months? Is someone orchestrating this?” Dadzie asked, expressing his bewilderment and demanding answers.

In an interview on Hitz 103.9 FM on August 20, 2025, he further questioned the circumstances surrounding this recurring issue, hinting at potential exploitation.

“Perhaps someone is facilitating their return, because it’s hard to understand how these individuals can be deported and then, in less than three months, be back on the streets, making us feel very uncomfortable,” he added.
