Ghanaian forward, Kwadwo Baah, was sent off during Watford’s 2-1 victory over Portsmouth on December 26, 2024, for taunting the away fans with a dance.

After the game, Baah went to stand in front of the Portsmouth fans and danced the ‘Take L’ celebration, which involves the player putting his hand on his forehead and shaking his body.

However, the dance infuriated the Portsmouth supporters, who vented out their displeasure with that tease of a dance from the player.

Some of the fans made attempts to storm the pitch to confront the player, but security personnel intervened.

Some of the aggrieved players drew the referee’s attention to the incident, which led to Baah being shown a red card despite the fact that the game had ended.

During the game, Baah won a penalty, which Edo Kayembe converted to level the score.

Rocco Vata’s strike into an empty net secured all three points for the hosts.

The red card incident has elicited mixed reactions on social media, with most people sharing their views on the issue.
