Kumchacha is a Ghanaian preacher

In the days following the tragic August 6, 2025, military helicopter crash that killed eight Ghanaian statesmen, several prophets have come forward claiming they predicted the disaster.

But outspoken preacher Prophet Kumchacha has dismissed most of these prophecies as “nonsense.”

‘You’re not matured at all’ – Pastor fires prophet Roja over flight crash prophecy

Appearing on United Showbiz on August 9, 2025, Kumchacha said many of the so-called revelations being shared in the aftermath of the tragedy lack both sense and biblical grounding.

He cited the Bible’s warning in Ezekiel 13 about misguided prophets.

One particular claim that caught his attention came from a Kumasi-based prophet, who alleged that the crash was linked to the imprisonment of the Heavens Way Church founder, Nana Agradaa.

According to this prophet, if Agradaa is not released, Ghana should expect even worse disasters.

Kumchacha did not hold back in his response.

“There are many prophets who have made various predictions, but most of these prophecies are quite nonsensical. The Bible itself mentions in Ezekiel 13 that many prophets are misguided. For instance, there is a prophet in Kumasi who claims that a woman named AD is imprisoned, and unless she is released, another helicopter tragedy will occur.

“If a prophet can make such a statement, it shows a lack of wisdom. God would not reveal something as foolish as that to anyone. The prophet who made these claims should be held accountable and possibly receive some lashes. The police also need to invite him for questioning,” Kumchacha stated.
