Gospel musician Nicholas Omane Acheampong has claimed that Prophet Kumchacha isn’t well accomplished and successful.
In an interview on RTV, Nicholas Acheampong stated that despite Kumchacha being well known as a staunch supporter of the National Democratic Congress, he is not the only pastor recognised by the political party.
He pointed out that other pastors invited to Mahama’s clergy meeting are also benefiting from their association with the NDC.
“Almost all the pastors who met Mahama have been given state lands. But because Kumchacha isn’t regarded well enough, he wasn’t invited to the meeting,” he stated.
He continued, “Kumchacha behaves like a kid. How can a well-known pastor get to the Manhyia Palace and the chiefs there can’t even identify him?”
The musician’s comments come in the wake of widespread reactions from social media regarding NDC flagbearer John Mahama’s meeting with some members of the clergy.
