Following the tragic helicopter crash on August 6, 2025, which claimed the lives of eight men, including top government officials, Prophet Kumchacha broke down in tears while speaking about the incident live on United Showbiz.

Overwhelmed with emotion, he ‘collapsed’ flat on the floor, visibly distressed. It took the support of other pundits to help him back to his seat.

Kumchacha expressed his deep grief, revealing that he and the late defence minister, Edward Omane Boamah, had unfinished discussions.

He said he never imagined they wouldn’t have the chance to complete them.

“I thought he was going to return so we could continue our discussions,” he said.
