Mohammed Kudus has been ruled out of Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League clash with Liverpool F.C. on Sunday as he continues to recover from a thigh injury that has sidelined him for nearly two months.
The 25-year-old midfielder is among 13 first-team players unavailable for Spurs’ trip to Anfield, leaving the North London side with a severely depleted squad ahead of the crucial encounter. Kudus has not played since suffering the injury in early January, and reports suggest his absence could extend beyond the upcoming international break.
Tottenham head coach Igor Tudor urged his injury-hit squad to remain resilient ahead of the difficult fixture.
“You can cry or you can fight,” Tudor told his players as he seeks his first victory since taking charge.
Kudus’ prolonged absence also raises doubts about his availability for Ghana national football team friendlies against Austria and Germany later this month.
Since joining Spurs from West Ham United F.C., Kudus has scored three goals and provided six assists in 26 appearances across all competitions.
