    Tottenham Hotspurs winger, Kudus Mohammed has named former Chelsea midfielder, Michael Essien as his favourite Premier League player of all time.

    Kudus who is currently in his third season in the Premier League after making the switch from Ajax in 2022 picked his Ghanaian legend when asked to name his favorite player in the history of the league.

    He highlighted his countryman’s dominance performance in the Premier League for Chelsea while explaining his decision to pick him.

    “Pretty obvious, think. He [Essien] has won the Premier League, done a lot with Chelsea, he’s a big guy, I’ll go for him.”

    “Aside from playing for Chelsea, also for the national team, good role model, leads by example and he was not involved in any drama or anything, just pure football and I really like that,” Kudus Mohammed said.

    Michael Essien spent 9 seasons at Stamford Bridge playing for Chelsea, where he won 8 major trophies including two Premier League tittles, 4 FA Cups, the League Cup and the UEFA Champions League.
