Former Member of Parliament for Adansi Asokwa, Kobina Tahir Hammond, widely known as Kobina Tahir Hammond, has stressed the need for unity within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as the party prepares for its presidential primary scheduled for January 31, 2026.

Addressing party members at Adansi Asokwa in the Ashanti Region on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, he condemned the internal wrangling within the party and urged members to prioritize unity, emphasising that it is vital as the NPP prepares for the 2026 elections.
