Safo Nketia, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Krachi East, has assured residents of a busy and transformative 2026, with several development projects lined up to boost the municipality’s growth.

In an exclusive engagement with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), the MCE revealed plans to tackle key areas such as education, healthcare, security support, youth recreational facilities, and economic development to be his topmost priorities for the municipality.

The MCE highlighted significant developments gained under His Excellency John Dramani Mahama-led administration, noting that Krachi East received its share of national resources within the past year.

He said the projects included construction of fish market in Dambai, construction of River Oti bridge in Dambai, construction of Oti Regional Hospital in Dambai, Establishment of military barracks in Dambai and the upcoming 24-hour market in Dambai.

Nketia expressed gratitude to the government on behalf of residents for allocating these key development projects to the municipality’s development.

He again thanked media houses for highlighting development efforts in Krachi East during his first year in office as MCE, aiding progress.
