The head coach of Asante Kotoko, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has noted that his team will approach their Ghana Premier League match against Berekum Chelsea with calmness and focus.

The Porcupine Warriors currently top the Ghana Premier League standings with 42 points after 23 matches in the 2024/25 football season.

Speaking to journalists after their win against Basake Holy Stars on Sunday, Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum emphasized the importance of staying composed ahead of their upcoming fixtures.

“We just have to be calm, conduct thorough opposition scouting and analysis, and examine what they do without the ball. Once we gather this information from the video team, review it, and train accordingly, we will remain composed and perform well.

“There is one thing about football: once you have a fair idea of what the opponent is going to do with and without the ball, it helps you stay calm. That is the most important thing—staying calm and staying focused,” Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum said.

Asante Kotoko will face Berekum Chelsea in their next Ghana Premier League fixture on Wednesday, April 3.
