The race for the NASCO Coach of the Month award for October 2024 is heating up as three standout coaches have been nominated for their impressive performances.

Among them is Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, head coach of Asante Kotoko SC, who has made significant strides this month alongside his competitors, Stephen Frimpong Manso of Bibiani Gold Stars FC, and Kassim Mingle Ocansey of Nations FC.

Coach Ogum has had a solid month with Asante Kotoko, recording three wins, one draw, and one loss.

His squad scored five goals and conceded three, reflecting a balanced approach to both attacking and defensive play. Ogum’s ability to adapt his strategies has kept Kotoko competitive in a challenging league environment.

Coach Frimpong Manso has led his team to an unbeaten record this October, securing three wins and two draws. Under his guidance, Gold Stars have scored six goals while conceding only two, solidifying their place atop the league table by the end of the month.

His tactical acumen and ability to motivate his players have been crucial in maintaining this form.

Coach Kassim Mingle has also demonstrated commendable leadership, achieving two wins, one draw, and one loss throughout October 2024.

His team has netted five goals while allowing just two to slip past them. A highlight of his month was a remarkable 3-0 victory against Vision FC in Match Week 8, showcasing the potential of Nations FC under his stewardship.

The winner of the NASCO Coach of the Month award will receive a 43-inch NASCO Television, courtesy of Electroland Ghana Limited, as recognition for their outstanding performance.

The award not only highlights individual coaching achievements but also emphasizes the growth and competitiveness of the Ghana Premier League.
