Ghanaian rapper and songwriter Konfidential is out with a new energetic single and video titled ‘Sounds of the Geng.’ Konfidential took the bull by the horns and delivered bars upon bars on this new drop.

“Sounds of the Geng was inspired by how great I am as a rapper, with different styles and switches I can be like anybody and be me as well,” Konfidential said.

The song is accompanied by a visual that celebrates the richness of scenery the Northern Region of Ghana offers. The video directed by Nak, shows the rich culture of the North and fuses effortlessly with the song. “The video was shot in the North because we want to throw more light and show the world the Northern culture… it hasn’t been spoken about more in the Western sector and even our way of life as the youth.”

Although Konfidential raps exclusively in Akan with English bit parts, the video showcases more of the Dagbon culture with art. Konfidential is a talented rapper who placed first runner-up on the hit television music reality show Mentor.

“Fans should just stay glued. We are building an army and they should expect more amazing work.”

    About Konfidential
