Hearts of Oak defender, Konadu Yiadom, has pleaded with the fans to keep faith with the team as they battle for the Ghana Premier League title.

The Phobians could not finish among the top four teams following the closure of the first round of the Premier League campaign.

With 29 points, the Ghanaian giants found themselves in the 5th position and are four points adrift of leaders, Bibiani Goldstars.

Speaking to the media, the former WAFA centre-back entreated the fans not to neglect the team as the battle for the ultimate title continues.

“We didn’t start the league well but our fans believed in us and supported us. I will plead with them to keep faith with the team until the end of the Premier League season” he said.

Konadu Yiadom has made just three appearances in the ongoing Premier League campaign.

Hearts of Oak will travel to face debutant Basake Holy Stars, who shockingly defeated the Ghanaian giants in the Premier League opener at the Accra Sports Stadium.
