Award-winning Ghanaian musician Kofi Kinaata has responded to claims made by his colleague, Medikal, regarding the former unfollowing him on Instagram.

The claims were made Medikal during his self-organized concert, held on Thursday, December 26, 2024, where the rapper publicly addressed his fans about the matter.

According to Medikal, Kofi Kinaata allegedly unfollowed him on Instagram due to his absence at the 2024 edition of the Made in Taadi Concert, an event hosted annually by Kinaata.

Medikal had been billed to perform at the concert but, unfortunately, failed to show up.

Speaking to his fans about the mishap, Medikal apologized to Kinaata and his fans for not attending the Made in Taadi Concert.

He acknowledged the significance of the event and assured his fans that his absence was unintentional.

In what seemed like a lighthearted reaction, Kinaata addressed the matter through social media.

He has come out to clarify that the only reason he would consider unfollowing Medikal on Instagram would be if Medikal claimed he could beat him at FIFA.

“Ah Donzy paa, the only thing wey ego make I unfollow @Medikalbyk be when he talk for somewhere say he go score me for FIFA,” Kinaata stated to dismiss any serious rift between them.

He further emphasized that there was no reason for him to unfollow Medikal and joked that if anyone deserved to be blocked, it wouldn’t be him.
