Minister-designate of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has appeared before Parliament’s Appointments Committee (PAC) for vetting following his nomination by President John Dramani Mahama.
The Member of Parliament for Buem is undergoing the mandatory vetting process, with his appointment pending approval based on the committee’s assessment.
Kofi Adams is expected to outline his vision for the ministry and demonstrate his qualifications for the role.
His plans for improving Ghana’s sports sector and enhancing recreational activities will also be scrutinized by the committee.
President Mahama nominated Kofi Adams in a statement released on January 21, 2024, entrusting him with the responsibility of leading the ministry.
