Kobina Amissah is Bechem United coach

Bechem United coach Kobina Amissah has credited the club’s passionate supporters and a refined tactical approach for their remarkable home form in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.

The Hunters have turned Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park into a fortress, going unbeaten at home since December 14, 2025, when they edged Eleven Wonders 1-0.

Since that victory, Bechem United have claimed maximum points against Swedru All Blacks, Berekum Chelsea, Bibiani Gold Stars, Heart of Lions, and Young Apostles, a run that has significantly boosted their standing on the league table.

Speaking to the club’s media, head coach Kobina Amissah attributed the resurgence to the unwavering support of the Bechem faithful.

“We are always motivated by our numerous fans who troop to the stadium. When they cheer on the players, it inspires them to fight hard to win the game. We have also adopted a tactical approach that is different at home and different away. That is what is working for us,” he said.

Bechem United’s home dominance has been one of the standout stories of the season. The team has shown defensive discipline, a compact shape, and clinical finishing in front of their supporters. Their ability to grind out narrow wins underlines their growing maturity under Amissah.

However, the Hunters’ away form remains a major concern. The club has managed just two points from 10 away matches since the start of the campaign, a sharp contrast to their impressive home record.

The inconsistency on the road has slowed their push into the upper tier of the table and could prove decisive in the race for continental qualification.

With Week 23 approaching, Bechem United will be desperate to translate their home confidence into results on their travels when they face Vision FC.

A first away win of the season could mark a turning point in their campaign.
