Kisa Gbekle has defended the provocative dress she wore to the birthday party of Tracey Boakye’s daughter.

In May 2024, Tracey celebrated the fourth birthday of her daughter, Nana Akua Nhyira, at her residence in Accra.

Ghanaian actress Kisa Gbekle was among those who attended the birthday ceremony.

After videos from the party were shared online, many people criticised Kisa over the dress she wore. They expressed concerns about why she chose to wear that dress to the birthday party of a kid.

A few months after the incident, Kisa Gbekle has reacted, telling Nana Romeo in an interview on Accra FM that she does give a hoot about what people are saying about her dress.

Explaining why she settled on that address, the actress and entrepreneur said Tracey asked them to wear white for the birthday celebration—and that was the only white dress she had at the time.

Kisa Gbekle added that she loves to be in the news.

She also revealed that she is not the outing type. According to her, the first time she stayed late outside this year was when she attended Sista Afia’s birthday party.

Kisa talked more about her life outside showbiz.
