Ghanaian award-winning sound engineer and music producer, Killbeatz, who also doubles as the manager of Afrobeat sensation King Promise, has boldly declared that his artist will emerge as the Artiste of the Year at this year’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

Killbeatz made this emphatic statement on Saturday, March 22, 2025, while they were en route to the mega birthday party of Ghanaian business mogul Richard Nii Armah Quaye.

The grand celebration, which took place at the Independence Square, was graced by top industry players, and as the cameras spotted Killbeatz and King Promise making their way to the event, the celebrated producer couldn’t hide his excitement and confidence.

While hyping King Promise as the best musician in the world, Killbeatz declared that this year’s TGMA Artiste of the Year title is coming to their camp.

He further added that their slogan for the year is in line with that of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

King Promise is in a tough battle for the prestigious award, competing against industry heavyweights such as Black Sherif, Stonebwoy, Joe Mettle, King Paluta, Kweku Smoke, and Team Eternity, as seen in the official list released by Charter House, the TGMA organizers.
