A Nigerian lady married shares the moment she sent her fiancé traditional fabrics to select from, and the unexpected reply he gave.

She shared that she had sent her fiancé, who is not Nigerian, pictures of fabrics for a friend’s Igbo traditional wedding ceremony that they were going to attend.

Upon seeing the traditional fabric called “Isiagu”, which had bold prints of a lion’s face on it, he started to refer to himself as the “king of the jungle”.

The lady, finding his reply funny, shared screenshots of their chats on a video she posted on TikTok.

Her fiancé appeared delighted by the fabric and continued to refer to himself as the “king of the Jungle” for the next few days, even using the lion emoji when he chatted with her.

Netizens made witty remarks about his transformation and how the couple lightened the moment, sparking waves of appreciation for African traditional attire and culture.
