The Founder of Citizen Eye Ghana, Alex Kwaku Tetteh, has made a passionate appeal to delegates to rally behind New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful, Kennedy Agyapong, as the party heads toward its primaries in January 2026.

According to him, Kennedy Agyapong is the best candidate to lead the party ahead of the 2028 general elections.

Alex, who previously had issues with Kennedy Agyapong and vowed to leave his camp, disclosed that those issues had been resolved, while reaffirming his belief in the former MP’s leadership.

Speaking at a press conference on September 26, 2025, in Accra, he urged delegates to support Kennedy to recapture power from the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2028 Election.

“Kennedy Agyapong has a bold vision for Ghana, with a strong emphasis on agriculture as a key tool to revive the economy.

“If Kennedy Agyapong leads the country, its fortunes can be transformed through strategic investment in agribusiness. The media will play a critical role in national development under Kennedy’s presidency,” he said.

He also hinted at the possible return of key figures such as Paul Afoko and Alan Kyerematen, who have previously distanced themselves from party activities.

“Kennedy is the candidate best positioned to restore trust, boost the economy, and unify the party,” he added.
