As the New Patriotic Party (NPP) conducts its presidential primary today, the camp of former Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong has taken an innovative approach to energise delegates by offering them a complimentary breakfast.
This initiative is designed to boost voters’ morale as they prepare to cast their ballots in this critical electoral process.
Delegates from across the country have expressed appreciation for the gesture, which aims to encourage active participation in choosing the party’s flagbearer for the upcoming 2028 general elections.
“We have a delicious spread that includes Kowan tea, Kowan sobolo, and various breakfast items ready to be served. It’s all free for Team Ken supporters,” a member of Agyapong’s camp stated.

Voting is ongoing nationwide, with party members selecting their preferred candidate from a competitive field that includes prominent figures such as Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Dr Bryan Acheampong, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, and Kwabena Agyepong.
To ensure a smooth and secure voting process, the Ghana Police Service has been deployed to maintain law and order at polling stations, fostering a peaceful environment for all participants.
Encouraging participation, a camp representative remarked, “Whether you vote for him or not, everyone is welcome to come and enjoy breakfast with Team Ken. So, we invite all delegates in Ablekuma South to come and grab their free meal.”
Initial reports indicate a seamless voting process, with accredited delegates successfully casting their votes at over 300 polling centres across the country.
