Ghanaian rising star Kelly Brown, known off stage as Kevin Brown Samatey, has released his latest single, “Sugar,” a vibrant Afrobeat track produced by Zaddy.

The new release showcases Kelly Brown’s unique blend of Afrobeat infused with elements of highlife, a style he says is inspired by celebrated acts such as Tekno, P-Square, KiDi, and Kuami Eugene. With its catchy rhythm and smooth delivery, “Sugar” promises to resonate with music lovers both in Ghana and beyond.

Kelly Brown has been steadily carving a space for himself in the competitive music industry, and “Sugar” is positioned as a step forward in his journey to the big stage.

Speaking on his musical aspirations, the young artist revealed his vision of gracing major platforms like Tidal Rave, Detty December, and Afrochella. His ambitions, however, stretch beyond Ghana’s borders, with dreams of performing internationally at iconic venues such as London’s O2 Arena.

For Kelly Brown, music is not just a craft but a passion deeply rooted in storytelling and cultural expression. He believes Afrobeat’s global appeal offers him the perfect avenue to share his sound and identity with the world.

With “Sugar” now out, fans can expect a taste of Kelly Brown’s artistry energetic, soulful, and distinctly African. As the Afrobeat wave continues to dominate the global scene, Kelly Brown’s latest offering signals that he is ready to join the ranks of Ghana’s next generation of breakout stars.

Sugar is available on all digital platforms.
