Karela United FC hope to turn their fortunes around as they face a revitalised Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League match day 11.

The ‘Pride and Passion’ squad are eager to secure a win after going three matches without a victory.

They host the Phobians at the Aliu Mahama Stadium at Tamale, on Sunday, November 17, 2024, aiming to end their winless streak.

Karela currently sit just one point above the relegation zone after ten games, with a record of two wins, three draws, and five losses.

Hearts, on the other hand, have been on an upward trajectory, traveling over 600 kilometers from Accra to Tamale with newfound confidence.

The Phobians have suffered only one defeat in their last eight matches and are riding the momentum of back-to-back wins for the first time this season.

Coach Aboubakar Ouattara’s team are aiming for a third consecutive league match win, a feat they haven’t achieved since March 2024.

The Phobians have also been impressive on the road, remaining unbeaten in their last four away games, with two wins and two draws.

As Karela strive to distance themselves from the relegation zone, Hearts look to extend their winning streak and solidify their position in the league.
