Despite a disappointing outing at the Sage Valley Junior Invitational last week, Kai Trump received a significant boost in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
The granddaughter of President Donald Trump was among the field of rising stars competing at the elite junior golf competition at Sage Valley.
As spectators in MAGA caps and secret service traipsed after her, Kai dropped a staggering 12 shots over seven holes alone on the back nine seeing her slump to 52-over for the tournament – almost double the score of her closest competitor.
Trump finished with rounds of 79, 89, and 83, leaving her 22 shots behind the bottom of the leaderboard. She finished dead last in the 24-player girls’ field.
Nonetheless, Trump saw her ranking move from 815th to 530th on the girls’ rankings.
Aside from Trump, Tiger Woods‘ son Charlie Woods also rose in rankings despite failing to win in South Carolina.

Woods, who has been seen at events with his 15-time major-winning father in recent years, finished 25th out of 36 players after dropping five shots over his last five holes.
However, Woods still leaped 235 spots to rank 603rd in the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA).
The ascents came on the heels of Tiger and Kai’s mother, Vanessa Trump, going public with their relationship.
On March 23, Tiger, 49, posted pictures with Vanessa, 47, on his Instagram and X accounts. One snap showed them posed in front of a vine-filled wall and another of them cuddling on a hammock.
‘Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts,’ the caption, written by Woods, read.
The Instagram post has gained over 327,000 likes, including 17-year-old Kai, who Vanessa shares with Donald Trump Jr.
It also came ten days after DailyMail.com exclusively broke the news that the golf icon was dating Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife.
