Italian giants Juventus are reportedly planning for the future and have identified highly rated Dutch-Ghanaian winger Ernest Poku as a potential summer target.
Poku, who currently plays for Bayer Leverkusen, has quickly established himself as one of the Bundesliga’s most exciting young wide players. The 21-year-old progressed through the famed academy of AZ Alkmaar before securing a move to Leverkusen in August 2025 for a fee believed to be around €12 million including bonuses.
Known for his pace, direct running and ability to excel in one-on-one situations, Poku has adapted swiftly to German football. He has also featured consistently for the Netherlands at youth level up to the U21 side.
This season, the winger has made 20 league appearances, scoring five goals and providing four assists, underlining both his growing influence and long-term potential.
Juventus are said to be closely monitoring his development as they seek to rejuvenate their attacking options ahead of next season.
However, Leverkusen are understood to be in a strong negotiating position, with Poku’s market value having doubled in the past year. The German club are expected to reject offers below €25–30 million.
