
The 2025 USA Boxing National Championships concluded after six days of incredible competition at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center in Lubbock, Texas, in collaboration with Visit Lubbock. The final day of action featured 66 amazing bouts across the Junior, Youth and Elite male and female divisions. Champions were crowned in each of those 66 matchups, as USA Boxing wrapped up its fourth-ever event hosted in Lubbock, Texas.
Amir Foster (132 lbs.) was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Boxer within the Junior Male division. Foster nabbed a unanimous decision in Ring Two, Bout 12 in his title contention. Maxine Garcia was tabbed the Most Outstanding Boxer of the Junior Female division after closing out her championship bout with a dominant 4-1 decision in Ring Three, Bout Three.
Within the Youth divisions, Ciana Nonhphala was awarded the Youth Female Most Outstanding Boxer after toppling her opponent with a flawless 5-0 score in the 106 lbs. division. As for the Youth Male division, Christian Paez collected the Youth Male Most Outstanding Boxer honor after defeating his foe with a unanimous decision of his own on Saturday in the 121 lbs. division.
Among the Elite division, Noelle Haro and Lavant Brownlee earned the Most Outstanding Boxer awards. Haro defeated a Paris 2024 Olympian via a narrow 3-2 decision, marking her third victory of the tournament after earning a stoppage and a 4-1 decision in her first two bouts. Brownlee closed out his decisive run at the tournament with another dominant performance, another unanimous decision.
Following Saturday’s competition, contenders within the Olympic weight classes in the Elite divisions and champions in the Youth division will now turn their focus to the upcoming 2026 USA Boxing Elite and Youth High Performance Selection Camp.
Each of the finalists in the Olympic weight classes of the Elite division will be invited to Colorado Springs, Colo., for the 2026 USA Boxing Elite High Performance Selection Camp, Jan. 11 through Feb. 11, at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Training Center (USOPTC).
While there, camp attendees will be evaluated to determine the 2026 USA Boxing Elite High Performance team, which will represent the United States during international competition.
Youth champions in all weight categories will also be invited to the USOPTC in Colorado Springs, Colo., Feb. 15 through March 11, for the 2026 Youth High Performance Team Selection Camp. At this camp, they will also be evaluated to earn the opportunity to represent the United States as a part of next year’s USA Boxing Youth High Performance team.
