    El ex campeón mundial mexicano Julio César Chávez Jr. fue liberado el domingo de una prisión en el norte de México, adonde fue enviado en agosto tras ser deportado de Estados Unidos.

    El boxeador, hijo del legendario boxeador mexicano Julio César Chávez, espera juicio por acusaciones de participación en cárteles y tráfico ilegal de armas a México.

    Chávez fue liberado después de que un juez de la ciudad norteña mexicana de Hermosillo dictaminara que no tendría que permanecer detenido mientras esperaba el juicio, pero que tenía prohibido salir de México, según informó un agente federal a The Associated Press bajo condición de anonimato por no estar autorizado a hablar públicamente. El juez también fijó un plazo de tres meses para una mayor investigación del caso.
