Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim has said she has not shut the door on marriage, despite the difficulties she has faced in past relationships.

Speaking in a recent interview on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z, the actress responded positively when host Kwame Dadzie asked whether she would consider getting married again after her divorce and other relationship experiences.

“Yes, I will. I will. Why not?” she said.

The actress explained that her outlook on relationships has evolved over time, largely shaped by personal experiences and growth. According to her, maturity has helped her become more intentional about what she now looks for in a partner.

“You already know what you want that adds value to your life right now. And you really don’t want any stress,” she indicated.

Juliet said her career and lifestyle also influence the kind of relationship she wants. As someone actively involved in her profession, she believes any future partner must understand and support her ambitions rather than expect her to confine herself to traditional domestic roles.

“I’m not the kind of woman who will just sit in the bedroom and kitchen and stay there. I have to be out there. So I need somebody who complements me, someone who understands that I’m both traditional and modern. We meet each other halfway,” she noted.

She also addressed perceptions some men form about her because of her celebrity status. According to her, being in the public eye sometimes leads potential partners to assume she is demanding or difficult, an idea she says often reveals more about them than it does about her.

“So when I hear guys say that, I just think, then you’re not the one for me. It actually makes it easier for me to weed out the ones who aren’t,” she added.

Juliet Ibrahim was previously married to Kwadwo Safo Jnr, the son of inventor and Kantanka Automobile Company founder Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka. The pair tied the knot in 2010 but ended their marriage in 2014. They share a son.

After the divorce, the actress also had a relationship with Nigerian rapper Iceberg Slim.

Over the years, Juliet has openly spoken about some of the painful experiences she encountered in past relationships, including rape and abuse.
