A JSS3 student has suffered a serious injury after being allegedly punched in the face by a senior student at Bright Future Secondary School in Shomolu, Lagos State.
The incident occurred when the junior student’s tie accidentally touched the senior, leading to an unexpected and violent response.
According to a viral post on X, formerly Twitter, the senior student reacted aggressively despite the junior student apologizing for the minor incident.
The punch left the younger boy with a severe injury, prompting his parents to rush to the school upon hearing about the altercation.
Reports indicate that when the parents arrived, school authorities attempted to conceal the senior student from them.
Additionally, it was alleged that the school took no immediate action regarding the assault.
Hence, leaving the parents to seek medical treatment for their son on their own.
