Jordan Ayew climbed off the bench to rescue Leicester City, salvaging a crucial point against Ipswich Town in a thrilling Premier League clash on Saturday.

After a goalless first half, the home side took the lead in the 55th minute through Leif Davis.

Determined to equalise, Leicester City pressed forward and gained a numerical advantage when Kalvin Phillips was shown a second yellow card and sent off in the 77th minute.

This shift allowed the Foxes to intensify their attacking efforts.

Ayew, who was introduced in the 86th minute, made a significant impact by receiving a pass from Jamie Vardy during injury time. He struck home the equaliser in the 90+4 minute, ensuring that Leicester City walked away with a vital point.

This goal marked Ayew’s second in the Premier League for Leicester since joining earlier in the season. Meanwhile, his compatriot Fatawu Issahaku, who was initially a doubt for the match, played the full 90 minutes.

The draw leaves Ipswich Town still searching for their first win of the season, while Leicester City remains in 15th place on the Premier League table with 10 points after 10 matches.
