Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew set up a goal for Leicester City on Tuesday night October 21, 2025 when the team suffered a 2-1 defeat to Hull City in the English Championship.

The experienced forward started the Round 11 encounter for the Foxes away from home alongside his compatriot Abdul Fatawu Issahaku in his team’s attack.

In the match played at MKM Stadium, Hull City got the better of Leicester City in the early parts of the contest and made it count.

Just six minutes into the first half, the home team took the lead through a strike from Liam Millar after he was assisted by Joe Gelhardt.

After going behind, Leicester tried to get back into the game, but things just didn’t work for Jordan Ayew and his teammates.

Hull City made it 2-0 in the 31st minute through Joe Gelhardt, who was assisted by Ryan Giles.

The only consolation goal for Leicester City came in the 67th minute, when Jordan Ayew showed his quality, teeing up Aaron Ramsey with a fine pass.

The youngster converted the chance, but it could not inspire the Foxes to come from behind to pick a point.

With his assist in the defeat to Hull City, Jordan Ayew now has one goal and one assist in the Championship after making 10 appearances for his side this season.
