Gospel musician and founder of Rockhill Church, Sonnie Badu, has made a bold prediction about Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama, stating that he will soon become a pastor.

In a recent Instagram post, the celebrated gospel artist suggested that Mahama’s political journey has reached its climax, and his next significant milestone will be ordination into pastoral ministry.

“Now that His Excellency has fulfilled the comeback mission, there is one more hurdle to overcome; call it a prophecy. His Excellency will soon be ordained as a pastor,” Badu wrote.

He further added that Mahama’s potential ordination could make him Ghana’s first pastor-president, a milestone that would be unprecedented in the nation’s history.

“He might become the first pastor to serve as a president. Congratulations in advance,” Badu concluded.

John Dramani Mahama’s recent return to the presidency has reignited discussions about his legacy and future.

The former president made history as the first leader under Ghana’s 4th Republic to lose an election and later reclaim office after two subsequent attempts.

Following his defeat to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in 2016 and again in 2020, Mahama staged a successful comeback in the 2024 elections, defeating Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in a landslide victory.
