John Setor Dumelo, a recently elected Member of Parliament, has sparked social media buzz following an interaction with Hajia Nasira Afrah Gyekye, MP for Sekyere Afram Plains.

The two were seen together during the necessary registration of parliamentary candidates on January 6, 2025.

A viral moment occurred when Dumelo commented on a photo of Hajia Nasira, complementing her looks and said, “My MP for Sekyere Afram Plains, you looked amazing.”

Hajia Nasira stunned many by responding with a courteous, “Thank you, brother,” calming the situation but keeping netizens curious.

Social media users continue to analyze their conversation, with ideas ranging from playful banter to possible kinship between the two MPs.

For the time being, the excitement around this conversation puts both MPs in the spotlight as they adjust to their new duties in Parliament.
