Head coach Joe Nana Adarkwa has named a 22-player squad for Black Maidens ahead of their crucial FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers clash against Togo.
The squad features a balanced mix of talent across all departments as Ghana seeks to secure qualification. Three goalkeepers—Rahima Abubakari Napari, Belinda Maku Aklie, and Josephine Nyanfule—have been selected to provide options between the posts.
In defence, seven players including Hajara Adams, Rafia Osman, and Seraphina Esse Essenam have been tasked with ensuring stability at the back. The midfield will be led by captain Seidatu Wahab, alongside Zeinab Shani and Daniela Abass, offering creativity and control in the centre of the pitch.
The attacking line features Jessica Appiah Asamoah, Cynthia Obinsrewuo, and Priscilla Mensah, who are expected to deliver goals for the team.
The Black Maidens have already arrived in Lomé and are camped at the EL Doria Hotel in Baguida. The match is scheduled to take place at the Stade de Kégué on Sunday, April 12, with kick-off set for 16:00 GMT.
