German coach Joachim Löw has dismissed reports linking him with the Ghana national team job, stating that he has had no contact with the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The former Germany head coach, who has been widely rumored as a potential successor following recent developments around the Black Stars, clarified his position in an interview with Sky Sports.
“Officially, no one from Ghana has spoken to me,” Löw said, putting to rest speculation about his possible appointment.
His comments come amid ongoing discussions about who will take charge of the Black Stars ahead of upcoming international assignments, including preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The GFA is yet to officially announce a new head coach after parting ways with Otto Addo, with several high-profile names reportedly under consideration.
Löw, who guided Germany to victory at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, remains one of the most respected coaches in international football. However, his latest remarks suggest he is not currently in talks to assume the Ghana role.
