Ghanaian actor Prince David Osei has praised the late former President Jerry John Rawlings for his remarkable leadership during his tenure.

In a post shared on X on February 26, 2025, Prince David Osei emphasized that a monumental landmark should be named after the late former president, rather than just a circle.

According to him, President Rawlings was an outstanding leader whose work inspired not only Ghanaians but the world at large.

“Such an exemplary leader he was… Miss you, Papa J… A monumental landmark should be named after him, not just Rawlings Circle,” he stated.

For the past few weeks, Prince David Osei has faced social media backlash over his recent comments against the NDC government and the Mahama-led administration.

In a recent tweet, the actor mocked Ghanaians after President John Dramani Mahama revoked the appointments of some public sector workers during the early days of his tenure.

Meanwhile, his latest statement has also drawn heavy criticism from some netizens, who are urging him to mind his own business.
