    Jerry Afriyie, Razak Simpson named in Black Galaxies squad for Nigeria clash

    Black Stars duo Razak Simpson and Jerry Afriyie have been named in the Black Galaxies squad for the upcoming 2025 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) qualifiers.

    The pair have been included in head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani’s 32-man squad, announced on November 25, 2024.

    Other Black Stars players named in the squad include Emmanuel Antwi, Kamaradini Mamudu, Ebenezer Abban, and Isaac Afful.

    According to the team’s itinerary, the squad will commence immediate camping in Prampram. They will take a break on December 5 to participate in the General Elections and resume training on December 8.

    Ghana will host the first leg of the qualifiers on Saturday, December 21, 2024, with the return leg scheduled to take place between December 27 and 29, 2024.
